Mohammed Bhuiyan

Mohammed Bhuiyan is a Senior Scientist at Evotec since December 2021, with a robust background in biochemistry and protein research. Previously, Mohammed served as a Science Instructor at the College of Staten Island, teaching high school students about biochemistry and mentoring independent research projects. Experience includes a postdoctoral role focusing on protein synthesis and characterization related to the human cardiac voltage-gated sodium channel, as well as various academic positions at the College of Staten Island where responsibilities included teaching and extensive laboratory work in protein purification and analytical techniques. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, an MS in Neuroscience, and a BS in Biology, Biochemistry, and Chemistry, all from institutions within the City University of New York system.
