Charles Adeeko

Charles Adeeko has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance and testing. Charles started their career as a Software Test Technician at Tribeka Ltd, where they dealt with PC CD-Rom software titles. Charles then worked as a Test Analyst at Capita, providing support to a government project called Connexions Card. After that, they joined lastminute.com group as a Software Test Manager, where they tested their e-commerce platform. Charles then joined Ticketmaster as a QA Manager, where they built a new QA team and integrated test practices into Agile framework. Currently, they are working at EVRYTHNG as the Director of Quality & Test, responsible for driving quality advocacy strategies and maintaining a quality engineering culture within the organization.

Charles Adeeko obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Music Technology & Audio System Design from the University of Derby, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their degree, Charles has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Charles achieved the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021. Charles also holds the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification from HashiCorp, obtained in August 2021. In 2019, Charles earned the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate certification from AWS, and in 2018, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from AWS. Charles has also acquired various software testing certifications including BBST Test Design, BBST Bug Advocacy, Black Box Software Testing Foundation, and the ISTQB - Foundation in Software Testing certification. In March 2019, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from AWS.
