System Engineer at EVS Broadcast Equipment

Alec Vaughn has a diverse range of work experience in the field of broadcasting. Alec began their career as a Camera Operator at Hearst Television in 2017. In the same year, they joined Razorback Sports Network as a Technical Director. At Razorback Sports Network, they worked on college sports broadcasts for SEC Network and ESPN, using a Ross Video Carbonite switcher. Alec continued in this role until 2020.

In 2020, Alec Vaughn embarked on an internship at ESPN as a Broadcast Operations Intern. During this internship, they gained valuable experience in the operations side of broadcasting. Later in 2020, they joined the University of Arkansas as an Assistant Broadcast Engineer. Alec remained in this role until early 2022.

Currently, Alec Vaughn is working as a System Engineer at EVS Broadcast Equipment, starting in 2022. Details of this role are yet to be specified. Prior to joining EVS Broadcast Equipment, they held the position of Technical Manager at the Ozark Media Arts Festival from 2018 to 2020.

With a solid foundation in camera operation and technical direction, combined with experience in broadcast operations and engineering, Alec Vaughn has developed a diverse skill set in the field of broadcasting.

Alec Vaughn is a student at the University of Arkansas, where they are pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems and Services. Prior to attending the university, Alec attended Siloam Springs High School from 2013 to 2017, where they studied Radio, Television, and Digital Communication.
