Olivier Barnich

Olivier Barnich has extensive work experience in the broadcast equipment and innovation fields. Olivier started their career at EVS Broadcast Equipment in 2010 as an R&D Software Project Manager and later became an Engineering Manager in Innovation. From February 2020 to August 2022, they held the position of Head of Innovation at the company. Currently, they serve as the Head of Innovation and Architecture. Prior to their work at EVS, Olivier was a PhD student and research engineer at the University of Liège from October 2004 to May 2010.

Olivier Barnich pursued their education at the University of Liège, where they obtained a Master's degree in Civil Engineering specializing in Electronics from 1999 to 2004. Olivier went on to further their studies at the same university, completing a Master of Advanced Studies in Applied Science from 2004 to 2006. Olivier then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Engineering Science at the University of Liège from 2004 to 2010.
