Romain Vinders has a diverse range of work experience. Romain started their career at La Mutualité Neutre du Hainaut in 2009 and 2011, where they gained experience in tasks related to management, reimbursements, and insurance, as well as filing and encoding. In 2012, Romain worked at WatchUp as a responsible web designer and ergonomist, where they focused on front-end web development, design, and communication.
In 2013, Romain had an internship at B-Holding ICTRA, where they worked on RIA and web development projects. Later in 2016, they worked at MT-C as a software engineer, focusing on full-stack programming. Romain worked with C, C++, SQL, Ruby on Rails, and web technologies such as HTML5 and JavaScript. Romain also gained experience in teamwork, meetings, and learning new technologies.
Romain's most recent position was at EVS Broadcast Equipment as a software engineer. In this role, they worked on various projects involving C++11/C++14, Boost C++, GoogleTest, CMake, TypeScript, React, and Python. Romain gained experience with software development methodologies such as Git-flow, test-driven development, agile development, and design patterns. The projects they worked on included the Multicam/XT server, LSM-Via API, IPD-Via timeline core, and NMOS IS-04/IS-05 services.
Romain Vinders completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer science & systems - Programmer analyst from HEPL - Haute Ecole de la Province de Liège, from 2013 to 2016. Romain also pursued a degree in Techniques infographiques - Web & multimedia from the same institution, from 2010 to 2013. In 2015, Romain Vinders attended Technifutur, where they studied Technologie informatique & systèmes embarqués. Additionally, Romain Vinders has taken courses in classical guitar and adult solfège at the Conservatoire de Verviers.
