Benji Miller

Benji Miller is a skilled Substation Cad Manager and Substation Designer II at EVS, Inc. since April 2022, with prior experience at LG&E and KU Energy LLC from June 2010 to April 2022 as a Drafting and Design Technician II. At LG&E and KU Energy, Benji created a range of transmission substation drawings using AutoCAD, including plan and detail drawings, equipment layouts, and microprocessor relay protection schematics. Benji also contributed to the design of a new substation layout in 3D for public presentation and installed and troubleshot drafting hardware and software. Earlier career experience includes working as a Cams Operator/3D Designer at Trane, where Benji designed 3D sheet metal templates and complex parametric assemblies using Autodesk Inventor. Benji holds an Associate's degree in Architectural, Mechanical, Civil Computer Aided Design Drafting from Spencerian College, earned between 2003 and 2005.
