Christian Swezey

Christian Swezey is an accomplished producer for "EWTN News Nightly" at EWTN since October 2017, with a robust background in sports journalism. Since March 2001, Christian has served as a columnist and senior contributing writer for Inside Lacrosse, focusing on lacrosse at various competitive levels. Prior experience includes a significant role as a multi-platform editor and writer at The Washington Post from May 1997 to October 2017, where responsibilities encompassed editing sports stories and creating content optimized for online publication. Earlier, Christian worked as a communications specialist at NPR from May 1995 to May 1997, producing promotional materials. Christian holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Loyola University Maryland (1991-1994) and completed secondary education at Gonzaga College High School (1986-1990).
