Andrew Skrei

Andrew Skrei has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Andrew is currently serving as the Vice President of Product Management at Exabeam, where they have been responsible for overseeing various domains including SIEM, TDIR, and Security Research since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Sr. Director Product Management from 2021 to 2023. From 2017 to 2021, Andrew worked as the VP Worldwide Sales Engineering at Exabeam. Andrew also served as a Solutions Architect from 2016 to 2017 and as a Sr. Security & Sales Engineer from 2015 to 2016 at the same company.

Before joining Exabeam, Andrew worked at eBay Inc as a Lead Information Security Engineer from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they were associated with KPMG US, where they held the roles of Manager - Information Protection and Senior Associate - Information Protection. During their tenure at KPMG, they provided assistance to clients from various industries in Information Security, performing tasks such as vulnerability assessments, IDS/IPS assessments, IT Security policy reviews, cyber security maturity assessments, incident response and investigations, and the development of Security Operations Centers.

Andrew's career in the field started with COUNTRY Financial, where they worked as an Information Security Analyst from 2012 to 2013. Andrew also served as a Client Server Support Analyst from 2009 to 2012 and as a Desktop Support Intern in 2008 at the same organization.

Andrew Skrei earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota from 2005 to 2008. Andrew also obtained certifications as a Splunk Certified Admin and a Splunk Certified Knowledge Manager from Splunk in 2015.
