Rami Gherbal

Rami Gherbal has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT infrastructure. Rami started their career in 2009 as a Systems Engineer at the American University of Beirut, where they were responsible for maintaining the security and operability of the IT infrastructure. During this time, they gained expertise in system administration, web security, virtualization, storage administration, and more.

In 2015, Rami joined Help AG as a Cyber Security Consultant and later became a Security Consultant - MSSP Specialist. In these roles, they provided technical and sales support for security analytics solutions and conducted various pre-sales activities. Rami also delivered internal sales and technical trainings.

In 2018, Rami joined LogRhythm as a Sales Engineer, where they worked in the META region. Rami was involved in the technical sales process and contributed to the success of the company.

Currently, Rami is working at Exabeam as a Principal Sales Engineer - EMEA. Rami is specializing in spearheading the technical sales for Exabeam in the Middle East and Africa region. Exabeam utilizes advanced machine learning and behavioral modeling technologies to enhance threat detection and response, thus improving security operations efficiency.

Overall, Rami Gherbal has gained extensive experience in sales engineering, technical consulting, and IT infrastructure management throughout their career.

Rami Gherbal obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Security from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication at the same university from 2005 to 2008. Rami has also earned several certifications in various cybersecurity and IT-related fields from institutions such as Exabeam, LogRhythm, Splunk, (ISC)², and F5 Networks.
