Edgardo Alvira

Edgardo Alvira, Pharm.D., MS has a diverse range of work experience. Edgardo is currently the Pharmacy Site Director at ExactCare, a CarepathRx Company, since March 2022. Edgardo also holds the position of Pharmacist in Charge at the same company since March 2021. Prior to their current role, they worked at EVERSANA as the Director of Pharmacy Operations / Pharmacist in Charge from February 2020 to March 2021.

Before that, Edgardo worked at Rx Outreach, where they held several positions. Edgardo served as the Pharmacist in Charge from September 2017 to February 2020. Edgardo was also a Pharmacist Supervisor from December 2016 to August 2017, and a Senior Outreach Coordinator/Pharmacist from May 2014 to November 2016.

In addition to their pharmaceutical roles, Edgardo has also had experience in academia. Edgardo worked as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at St. Louis College of Pharmacy from March 2015 to February 2020.

Outside of the pharmaceutical field, Edgardo co-owned and served as the President of P3 Nutrition from January 2014 to June 2019. Edgardo also sat on the Board of Directors at Interfaith Legal Services for Immigrants from September 2014 to July 2016.

Early in their career, Edgardo worked as a Scientist at Pfizer from August 2002 to January 2010.

Edgardo Alvira, Pharm.D., MS obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidad de Puerto Rico in 1999. Edgardo then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Organic Chemistry from Purdue University, which they completed in 2002. Later, in 2014, Edgardo graduated from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis with a PharmD degree in Pharmacy. In 2011, they obtained a Pharmacy Intern certification from the State of Missouri. Additionally, they hold certifications in "Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery" from the American Pharmacist Association and "Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers" from the American Heart Association. Edgardo has also completed courses on "Key Mental Shifts for Servant Leadership" and "Strategic Thinking" from LinkedIn, in the year 2020.
