Following this, from 1966 to 1968, Kent Peterson attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, specializing in internal medicine, and also delving into the fields of mystery and adventure.
In addition to their educational background, Kent Peterson obtained a certification in Occupational Medicine and General Preventive Medicine/Public Health from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) in June 1976.
