Shmuel Cohen

Shmuel Cohen has a diverse and extensive work experience. Shmuel is currently working as the Chief Architect/Distinguished Engineer at Examity since March 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Software Secure Inc (A PSI LLC Company) for over 15 years, starting in August 2005 and holding the position of CTO/VP Engineering. During their time at Software Secure, they played a key role in transforming the company into a global, highly scalable, industry award-winning cross-platform solution suite. Shmuel achieved this by leveraging the AWS cloud, video analytics, and machine learning technologies. Before joining Software Secure, Shmuel worked at Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center as an IS Project Manager from September 2002 to August 2005. Prior to that, they served as the VP Engineering at Instruction Set from an unknown start date to 2002.

Shmuel Cohen earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing / Systems Analysis from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Economics from Portland State University, where they studied from 1977 to 1980. In addition to their formal education, they hold a certification as a MongoDB Administrator / Developer from MongoDB, Inc.
