Nikodem Bończa Tomaszewski has a diverse work experience in leadership roles in the field of information technology and archiving. Nikodem started their career as the Director of Archiwum Dokumentacji Mechanicznej, a central state archive, where they managed the collection of photographs, recordings, and audiovisual materials. Nikodem then became a Advisor to the Naczelnego Dyrektora Archiwów Państwowych, where they provided expertise in the digitalization of archives.
In 2008, they joined Narodowe Archiwum Cyfrowe, a central digital archive, as its Director. During their time there, they were responsible for building a team with competencies in archiving, digitization, analytics, programming, and maintenance.
In 2012, Tomaszewski transitioned to Centralny Ośrodek Informatyki as its CEO, overseeing the transformation of the organization into an independent IT project implementation and maintenance firm. Under their leadership, the company experienced significant growth, with the number of employees doubling and annual revenues increasing to approximately 100 million złotych.
Tomaszewski's most recent role is the CEO of Exatel, a position they have held since 2016.
Nikodem Bończa Tomaszewski's education history includes obtaining a Magister (Mgr) degree in History from the University of Warsaw from 1995 to 2000. Following this, they pursued further education and completed a Doktor (Dr) degree in History from the same institution from 2000 to 2005.
