Ingmar Schuster

Ingmar Schuster has had a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Ingmar is currently the CEO and cofounder of Exazyme, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Zalando SE as a Senior Applied Scientist from July 2020 to June 2021, and as a Research Scientist from July 2018 to July 2020. Before joining Zalando SE, Ingmar was a Postdoctoral Researcher at both Freie Universität Berlin from October 2016 to June 2018, and Université Paris Dauphine from October 2015 to September 2016. Ingmar began their career as a Researcher at Fraunhofer FIRST from July 2009 to June 2011, and also had a brief internship as a Research and Development Intern at IBM Deutschland GmbH from February 2007 to April 2007.

Ingmar Schuster earned a Master's Degree in Linguistics from the University of Tübingen from 2003 to 2009. Following that, from 2003 to 2009, they pursued an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science at the same university. Finally, from 2011 to 2016, they attended Leipzig University where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science.
