Laura Reid

With over 14 years experience Laura has led many areas of the secondary English curriculum, been Head of Faculty for 9 years, a senior leader responsible for teaching and learning and a Senior Secondary Improvement Partner. Laura’s NPQSL qualification focused on teaching and learning, and leading change. She has also been an A Level English examiner for AQA. Previously Director of Excalibur’s Teaching School Alliance Laura has always been passionate about the quality of teaching and learning and providing students of all backgrounds with a first-class education. This love of teaching and the ability to instigate and lead change is at the heart of everything she does. As Head of Secondary Education Laura leads the work of the secondary schools in their drive toward excellence. She works with individual academies as well as leading key teams on school improvement work.
