Al MacKay

Al Mackay is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with a focus on drilling and decommissioning operations. Currently serving as Drilling Superintendent at Zenith Energy Ltd since July 2024 and as Decommissioning Project Manager at EXCEED Energy since January 2023, Al brings extensive expertise from previous roles, including Drilling and Completion Superintendent at Eni Energies et Services and Drilling Superintendent at Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited. With a robust background that includes a lengthy tenure at BP, Al has honed skills in drilling supervision and project management over nearly two decades. Al holds a BSc (Hons) in Petroleum Geology from the University of Aberdeen.
