James O'Hare

James O'Hare is an experienced drilling engineer with a robust background in well site operations and engineering support. Currently serving as a Well Site Drilling Engineer at Serica Energy plc since March 2024, James previously held positions as a Junior Drilling Engineer at EXCEED Energy and as a Drilling Engineer with Shell. Notable contributions include providing engineering support for feasibility studies and remediation on the UK Continental Shelf, as well as ensuring efficient operations on the East Breagh Platform with INEOS Energy. Earlier experience includes cement engineering roles at Halliburton, where James managed bespoke fluid designs and cementing programs for significant North Sea abandonment projects. James O'Hare holds an MSc in Oil and Gas Engineering from Robert Gordon University and a BE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
