Chris Holt

Chris Holt possesses extensive experience in the correctional and security fields, currently serving as a Deputy Jailer at Marshall County Detention Center since July 2024 and as a Security Officer at EXCEL USA since October 2021. Previous roles include Executive Staff Advisor at the Kentucky Department of Corrections from October 2018 to January 2022, along with significant tenure as a Jail Services Specialist and Jail Inspector from January 2001 to October 2018. Early career positions included Probation and Parole Officer and Correctional Officer, as well as Warehouse Manager at VMV Enterprises from February 1995 to October 2000. Chris Holt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication from Murray State University between 1992 and 1996.
