Edward Lyon

Edward Lyon has a diverse work experience in the financial and tax planning industry. Edward started their career as a Pension Marketing Consultant at Ohio National Financial Services in 1997. Edward then joined TaxTuneUp.com, Inc. in 2000 as the President, where they served as a Tax Expert to Small Business Owners until 2010. Edward then moved on to TaxCoach System in 2005, starting as a Partner-in-Charge and later becoming the Co-Founder and Chief Tax Strategist. In 2015, TaxCoach merged with Financial Gravity, where Edward continued to work as the Chief Tax Strategist and Director. Edward also served as the Chief Executive Officer at Tax Master Network from 2015 to 2023. Currently, Edward is working at Excel Empire as the Chief Tax Planner. Throughout their career, Edward has been actively involved in mentoring and coaching members in tax planning and practice marketing.

Edward Lyon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Hamilton College in 1986. Edward then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree. After completing their education, Edward obtained various certifications including a Life and Health Insurance License from the Ohio Department of Insurance in 1993, Series 63 and Series 7 certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in 1993, and was licensed to practice law by the Ohio State Bar Association in 1991. In 2019, they also obtained a Series 65 certification from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
