Narayan Biligiri Selvapillai

Narayan Biligiri Selvapillai has extensive work experience in various roles. In 1978, they started working as Deputy Manager at Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd in Jhansi, where they were involved in material planning, budgeting, and foreign procurement. Narayan also served as a liaison between Materials Management and Finance, overseeing resource planning and budget allocation. Narayan worked there until 1987. In 1987, Narayan established Excel-Par Electronics Private Limited, where they serve as the Managing Director. The company specializes in manufacturing Special Transformers and Chokes for Electronic Applications and has become one of the largest manufacturers of current transformers and SMPS transformers in South India.

Narayan Biligiri Selvapillai completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 1972 to 1977. Prior to that, they completed their Higher Secondary education in Science from Manav Sthali Higher Secondary School New Delhi in 1972. Narayan obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies from edX in 2021.
