Josh Gershfield is an experienced advocacy and legislative professional currently serving as an Advocacy Associate at ExcelinEd since August 2023. Gershfield participated in the Koch Associate Program as a K-12 Education Fellow with Stand Together Fellowships from September 2023 to May 2024. Prior legislative internships include time with the U.S. House of Representatives, where assistance was provided in producing publications on economic trends and performing various office operations, and the United States Senate, where research was conducted on social policies and legislation. Gershfield also held the role of Finance Director for the University of Maryland College Republicans and completed internships with Jersey 1st and the Beth Van Duyne for Congress campaign. Josh Gershfield holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, which was awarded in 2022, and is a graduate of The Frisch School.
