Carlos Alvarez

Carlos Alvarez has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Carlos started their career at IBM, where they held several positions including Latin America Marketing Manager and Engineering Development Manager. Carlos then worked at Sony as a Regional Marketing and Sales Manager, where they expanded Sony's Information Technology Division into Latin America. After that, Carlos joined Motorola as the Director of Global EMS Sales, managing worldwide sales for accounts in the Electronic Manufacturing Service industry. Carlos also had a brief stint at EXTENDED SOLUTIONS LLC as a Managing Director, where they focused on managing the Latin America focused organization and increasing market share. Following that, Carlos worked at Fairchild Semiconductors as a Sr. Regional Sales Manager for Southeast US and Latin America, responsible for managing a technical sales force and driving revenue. Carlos then moved to Lumen Dynamics as the General Manager Americas before joining Excelitas Technologies as the WW Sales Director Industrial Curing. Throughout their career, Carlos has proven track records in driving sales, managing teams, developing marketing strategies, and achieving business objectives.

Carlos Alvarez attended Miami High for an unknown duration of time. Carlos then went on to pursue higher education at the University of Miami, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BS EE) from 1977 to 1981. Carlos continued their studies at the University of Miami Herbert Business School and University of Miami, completing both a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering (MSIE) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from 1984 to 1986.
