Scott Metzler

Scott Metzler, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in business development and biomedical engineering with a diverse background in both academic and corporate environments. Currently serving as Business Development Manager at Excelitas Technologies Corp. since January 2022, Scott previously held the role of OEM Business Development Manager at PCO-TECH Inc. from May 2018 to January 2022, where expertise in high-performance camera systems was leveraged. Prior positions include Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer at Metrad Biosystems, as well as leadership roles at Photometrics and PCO America. Scott's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Mississippi State University, and postdoctoral work at Stanford University School of Medicine, along with additional education in innovation and entrepreneurship from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
