Mike MacWillie

Mike MacWillie serves as the Director of Engineering at Excell Battery Company since October 2012, previously holding roles as Engineering Manager and in Engineering - Electronic Design. At Excell, Mike specializes in designing and prototyping Battery Management System hardware, covering aspects such as component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, and battery fuel gauge programming. Prior to this, Mike worked at Tranzeo Wireless from June 2005 to May 2012, initially as an RF Test Technologist, focusing on automating production and R&D tests and conducting Design Verification Testing. Mike also held a production role where responsibility included testing Wi-Fi and WiMAX production units with a commitment to 100% coverage and quality assurance.
