Brendan Prin

Brendan Prin has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps and consulting. Brendan joined Excella in 2017, where they served as the DevOps Capability Lead, overseeing the DevOps operations and processes. Prior to this role, they worked as the Lead DevOps Engineer, leading a team of 20 developers in building an AI/ML solution. Brendan also worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where they maintained and developed infrastructure for an existing application. In their earlier years, Brendan worked as a DevOps Engineer, specializing in automated build pipelines and infrastructure automation using Chef and Terraform.

Before joining Excella, Brendan worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they held the role of Senior Consultant. In this position, they developed continuous integration build pipelines and implemented CI/CD processes for microservices. Brendan also worked as a Consultant, where they focused on API testing, improving build pipelines, and providing training on various software testing concepts.

Prior to their career in DevOps and consulting, Brendan worked at Montgomery County Public Schools as an Assistant Coordinator of Regional Summer Schools. In this role, they assisted with database management and enrollment using a relational database.

Brendan Prin graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition, they obtained various certifications, including Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner in 2023, Certified ScrumMaster in 2017, and ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching and Agile Team Facilitation in the same year.
