Doguhan Uluca

Principal Fellow at Excella

Doguhan Uluca has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Doguhan started their career as a Software Engineer II at Meridium in 2007. Doguhan then became a Senior Software Engineer at Earth Resources Technology in 2011. In 2012, they joined NRECA as a Tech Lead and later transitioned to Excella in the same year, where they held various roles including Senior Consultant, Managing Consultant, JavaScript Specialty Lead, and Software Development Expert. In 2015, they founded Tech Talk DC and served as its Director and Organizer. In 2016, they worked as an Agile Engineering Consultant at IRS. Doguhan'smost recent role is as a Principal Fellow at Excella, which they started in March 2022.

Doguhan Uluca earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech from 2001 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended The Koç School from 1994 to 2001, where they pursued an International Baccalaureate (IB) degree in high school. In addition to their formal education, Doguhan Uluca obtained several certifications including Certified SCRUM Professional (CSP), Certified SCRUM Developer (CSD), Certified SCRUM Master (CSM), Certified SCRUM Product Owner (CSPO), and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) with a focus on programming in C#.
