Rich Barlesi

Rich Barlesi has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Rich started their career as an Accounting Manager at Argonaut Group in 1998 before moving on to Active Optical Networks, Inc. as an Accounting Manager in 2000. In 2005, they joined Blue Shield of California as a Senior Director, Assistant Controller, where they worked for over a decade. Since 2017, Rich has been working at Excellus BCBS, starting as a Vice President of Accounting and Financial Reporting and now holding the role of Corporate VP Budget, FP&A.

Rich Barlesi attended Santa Clara University from 1989 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting. In September 2007, they also received certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy.
