Vn Ramachander Turaga

VN Ramachander Turaga has extensive work experience in various scientific and research roles. VN Ramachander currently works as a Principal Scientific Manager and Program Manager at Excelra since May 2020. Prior to this, they served as an Adjunct Professor at Osmania University from July 2018 to May 2019.

Before their time at Osmania University, Turaga held multiple positions at DuPont. From August 2013 to April 2018, they worked as a Project Lead, specializing in global launches and applications scientist. In this role, they focused on project management and lean management, leading complex and multi-platform approaches in the field of discovery, validation, translation, and commercialization. Additionally, they were appointed as Principal Investigator and Research Scientist at DuPont from May 2008 to July 2013, where they played a crucial role in establishing the company's bio-sciences department and handled recruitment and resource management.

Earlier in their career, Turaga worked as a Post Doc Fellow at CRCHUQ from March 2005 to April 2008. VN Ramachander also gained experience as a Post Doc Fellow at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 from December 2003 to November 2004.

Turaga began their professional journey as a Senior Research Fellow at the National Chemical Laboratory from June 1999 to October 2003. VN Ramachander worked on a project focused on the characterization of a genomic DNA fragment involved in Poly-β-hydroxybutyrate synthesis.

VN Ramachander Turaga earned a PhD in Biotechnology- Biopolymers from Savitribai Phule Pune University, completing their studies in 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Microbiology from Osmania University, which they completed in 1998. VN Ramachander'sundergraduate studies were also at Osmania University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry in 1996.

In addition to their academic degrees, Turaga has obtained several certifications throughout their career. VN Ramachander holds a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in 2021. VN Ramachander also received a PRINCE2 Foundation certificate in Management from PRINCE2 in 2018 and a PRINCE2 Practitioner Project Management certification in the same year. Turaga also holds certifications in SixSigma Green Belt, Clinical Research Associate, R basics, and completed programs in Artificial Intelligence and Project Management Skills for Leaders.
