Sofi Clark has a diverse work experience in the medical and engineering fields. Sofi began their career at Excelsior Medical Corp. in 2005 as a Manufacturing Manager before transitioning to the role of Manager of Product Integration in 2009. In 2010, Sofi joined Johnson & Johnson Animas Corporation as a Staff Mechanical Engineer. Sofi then moved to Therakos, Inc. in 2013, where they worked as an Engineering Program Manager until 2014. Currently, Sofi is the Director of Manufacturing Operations at Excelsior Medical, LLC, a position they have held since May 2018. Prior to this, they were the Director of Product Development at Excelsior Medical, LLC from September 2014 to April 2018.
Sofi Clark earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Healthcare Economics and Marketing from Villanova University. Sofi attended Villanova University from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSE) with a focus on Manufacturing from the University of Michigan, attending from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Sofi has acquired various certifications. In 2019, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. In 2022, they obtained certifications in Leading with Courage from The Ivey Academy at Ivey Business School, Accelerating Change Readiness and Agility Experience from UC Berkeley Executive Education, Communicating Persuasively & Building Trust from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and Implementing Winning Strategies Experience from Columbia Business School Executive Education.
