Vishaka Santosh

Vishaka Santosh, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Scientist at Excet, Incorporated since February 2022, with a strong background in research and development in the fields of physiology, biochemistry, and structural biology. Previous experience includes serving as an NRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the U.S. Army CCDC Chemical Biological Center and as a Ventures Fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University, where responsibilities involved assessing the commercialization potential of emerging technologies. With a Ph.D. in Physiology and Biophysics from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, Vishaka has a history of mentoring students, publishing research, and presenting findings at national conferences. Additional academic credentials include a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry, both from Virginia institutions.
