Matt Owczarz

Matt Owczarz is an experienced freelance contributing writer, currently engaged with The Spill Magazine and Exclaim! Media since 2019 and 2020, respectively. Previously, Matt served as a staff writer at Modern Mississauga Media, where responsibilities included producing multiple comprehensive articles daily across various topics and generating story ideas. A background in television news includes roles as anchor, producer, and writer for Humber News TV, where collaboration on a news show's production and script development occurred. Matt also held editorial positions at Humber Et Cetera and Scribe Magazine, overseeing writing teams and managing content for publication. Matt obtained a Journalism diploma from Humber College in 2018.
