Younes F.

Younes F. has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles related to cyber security. Younes is currently working as the Head of Security Strategy and Governance at Exclusive Networks since September 2023. Previously, they worked at Euroclear, where they served as the Threat Detection & Response Readiness Lead from June 2022 to September 2023 and as the Incident Response Lead from June 2021 to June 2022. Prior to that, they were involved in the Belgian Cyber Security Coalition as the CSIRT-SOC Focus Group Chair from September 2017 to September 2023. Younes also gained experience at Proximus as a Cyber Security Intelligence & Incident Response professional from July 2016 to June 2021. Before their time at Proximus, they worked as a Research Intern at Howest from February 2016 to June 2016.

Younes F. holds a Master of Science in Advanced Security and Digital Forensics from Edinburgh Napier University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Computer Science specializing in Computer and Cyber Crime Professional from HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen. Younes also completed their High School education at HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen with a focus on Mathematics and Science. In addition to their degrees, Younes has obtained certifications including GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA) from SANS Institute and CCNA Security as well as CCNA Routing and Switching from Cisco Networking Academy.
