Deputy Chief Of Staff at Executive Office of the Governor

Anna DeCerchio's work experience includes serving as the Chief of Staff for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection since August 2022. Prior to that, they were the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Executive Office of the Governor starting in January 2021. From 2019 to 2021, Anna worked as the Deputy Policy Director for the Executive Office of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, where they researched and developed policy initiatives and collaborated with state agencies. Anna also has experience as a Legislative Aide and Legislative Intern in the Florida House of Representatives, where they assisted with policy development, conducted research, and handled press-related matters. Additionally, Anna served as the Campaign Manager for Paul Renner for State Representative in 2016.

Anna DeCerchio attended Lincoln High School from 2004 to 2008. Anna then pursued their undergraduate education at the University of Florida from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and History. Anna furthered their education by attending the University of South Carolina School of Law from 2012 to 2013, after which they transferred to Florida State University College of Law and completed their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from 2013 to 2015. In October 2015, Anna obtained their certification as an Attorney from The Florida Bar.
