Shelby Cecil

Shelby Cecil is a seasoned policy professional with extensive experience in government operations. Currently serving as Policy Coordinator and previously in roles such as Deputy Policy Coordinator and Budget Chief at the Executive Office of the Governor since February 2019, Shelby has been involved in budget management, legislative analysis, and policy recommendations. Prior experience includes serving as Budget Manager at the Florida Department of Revenue and Governmental Analyst at the Executive Office of the Governor, where responsibilities encompassed budget tracking and executive reporting. Early career roles included administrative support and scheduling assistance, as well as political campaign engagement with the Republican Party of Florida. Shelby holds a Bachelor of Science in International Relations and Affairs from Florida State University, earned in 2015.
