Akash Das

Akash Das, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of research and scientific development. Akash is currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Exelixis since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the roles of Principal Scientist and Sr. Scientist at ORIC Pharmaceuticals Inc. from September 2019 to May 2022. Akash also worked as a Research Scientist in Translational Oncology at Genentech from February 2017 to September 2019. Starting their career in 2009, they served as an Assistant Professor (Research Track) at UTSouthwestern Medical Center from November 2013 to January 2016. Akash also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow (Scientist) at UTSouthwestern Medical Center from July 2009 to October 2013.

Akash Das earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Wake Forest University, from 2004 to 2009.
