Andy Simmons

Andy Simmons is an accomplished professional in the field of translational medicine and oncology drug discovery. Currently serving as the Vice President of Translational Medicine at Exelixis since September 2023, Andy has previously held multiple senior roles at Clovis Oncology from June 2013 to July 2023, including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Translational Medicine. Prior experience includes positions at Takeda as Associate Director of Oncology Drug Discovery and Principal Scientist in Oncology Pharmacology, as well as a role as Sr. Scientist at Neugenesis Corporation and Scientist at Cell Genesys. Andy Simmons holds a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from UT Southwestern Medical Center.
