Li Liu Ph.D.

Li Liu PhD, CFA has extensive work experience in business development and investment analysis within the biotechnology industry. They have held senior-level positions at companies such as Exelixis and Chengdu Kanghong Pharmaceutical Group Co.,Ltd., where they were responsible for driving business growth and forging partnerships. Additionally, Li Liu has experience in technology commercialization services as Assistant Director of Business Development at the New York State Center for Biotechnology. They have also worked as an Analyst at Ascent Biomedical Ventures, conducting thorough market and competitor analysis to inform investment decisions. Prior to their business development roles, Li Liu gained research experience as a Research Associate at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and as a Pharmacokinetic Research Scientist at the Translational Experimental Therapeutics Laboratory.

Li Liu PhD, CFA received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Fudan University in 2007. They then pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Stony Brook University, completing it in 2012. Li Liu also obtained additional certifications including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 2019. They also completed the Fundamental of Bioscience Industry Program, an 80-hour business training course, at the Center For Biotechnology.
