Aaron Koos is Exelon’s senior vice president of Corporate Affairs and Chief Communications Officer, leading integrated communications strategy, planning and execution for the leading transmission and distribution energy company Exelon and its six local electric and natural gas companies -- Atlantic City Electric, BGE, ComEd, Delmarva Power, PECO and Pepco. He also oversees Exelon’s philanthropic activities, including its annual charitable giving and the volunteer efforts of thousands of employees across the company. Koos’ team has expertise across a wide range of communications and philanthropy disciplines, including employee communications, media relations, public advocacy, issues/crisis management, marketing, advertising, branding, digital/social media, charitable giving and corporate relations. Under his leadership, the team is responsible for enhancing and protecting Exelon and its utilities’ reputations with internal and external stakeholders, fostering employee trust and engagement, and supporting the company’s policy and business objectives through compelling communications and community support.

Previously, Koos served as the vice president of communications for Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE). He oversaw initiatives to improve stakeholder interactions, engage employees, increase organizational transparency, shape public dialogue and build organizational reputation. As part of the Exelon Communications leadership team, he helped coordinate communications functions at Exelon’s six energy delivery companies.

Koos joined the company in 2006 as part of the Constellation Energy corporate communications team. There he was responsible for managing several communications platforms, including digital and social media outlets, and environmental and sustainability communications. He also managed communications for the company’s retail energy, renewables and energy efficiency businesses. This included serving as spokesperson for retail subsidiaries and business lines, overseeing media outreach initiatives, and developing content and collateral materials. He joined Baltimore Gas and Electric in 2011 and since 2016, led the Communications team, as well as coordinated communications campaigns for Exelon-wide initiatives. Prior to joining the company, he was a vice president of Wills & Associates, a public relations agency in Baltimore serving a range of regional and national clients.

Aaron is on the Board of the Peale Center for Baltimore History and Architecture, and is active with Scouts BSA. He serves on the United Way of Central Maryland Tocqueville Society Executive Council. He is a member and former officer of the Baltimore Public Relations Council, a member of the Public Relations Society of America, Maryland Chapter, and a graduate of the Leadership Baltimore County Class of 2021.​

Aaron Koos

Anthony is the President and CEO of Pepco Holdings, the parent company of Pepco, an electric utility serving Washington, D.C., and suburban Maryland; Delmarva Power, an electric and gas utility serving Delaware and portions of the Delmarva Peninsula; and Atlantic City Electric, an electric utility serving southern New Jersey. Anthony and his team are responsible for guiding the company's delivery of reliable and excellent service to more than two million customers in the Mid-Atlantic. Pepco Holdings is a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation, one of the nation's leading energy services companies.

Anthony has more than 30 years of utility operations experience, including electric distribution, transmission operations, nuclear generation, project management, customer service, and labor relations. Prior to joining Pepco Holdings, Anthony served as the senior vice president of Distribution Operations and vice president of Transmission and Substation for ComEd in northern Illinois. Anthony also served as vice president of Projects for Exelon Nuclear, executing large projects across Exelon's nuclear fleet.

Anthony currently serves on the boards of several civic and nonprofit organizations including the Washington, D.C. Police Foundation, the Strathmore Hall Foundation, Inc., and the Southeastern Electric Exchange, a nonprofit, non-political trade association of investor-owned electric utility companies.

J. Tyler Anthony

​Jones is Exelon's chief financial officer and is responsible for overseeing the execution of all financial activities including the capital investment process, financial reporting, planning, tax, insurance, credit management, investor relations, investments and corporate mergers and acquisitions. She serves on the Exelon Executive Committee, which sets strategy and direction for the company. 

Previously, Jones served as senior vice president, corporate finance for Exelon, where she was the key interface between Exelon and the financial community, including investors and rating agencies, and was responsible for communicating the company's financial, strategic, operation and regulatory goals and results.

Prior to her role at Exelon, Jones served as chief financial officer for ComEd, where she was responsible for all ComEd finance activities, including financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, business planning, financings, and risk management. A unit of Chicago-based Exelon, ComEd delivers electricity to more than 4 million residential and business customers across northern Illinois, or 70 percent of the state's population.

Prior to her role in Exelon Nuclear, Jones served as assistant treasurer and director of treasury operations and cash management at Exelon. In that role, she oversaw Exelon’s cash management, liquidity, pension funding strategies, and corporate capital review and approval processes. She was responsible for adequate liquidity facilities and directed the portfolio capital allocation process. Before that, Jones held a variety of finance roles at Exelon, including manager of treasury operations and chief of staff to the CFO. She joined Exelon in 2007 as a principal analyst for accounting, policy, and research in the controller’s department.

Prior to joining Exelon, Jones was a manager in the audit practice of EY’s Chicago office.

Jeanne Jones

Gil Quiniones leads ComEd, an Exelon company, which powers the lives of more than 4 million residential and business customers, or 70 percent of Illinois’ population. He is responsible for the safe and reliable delivery of electricity to customers and for empowering them to manage their energy use. He oversees the management of the electric grid for Chicago and most of northern Illinois and ComEd’s partnerships with the diverse communities it serves. 

Gil C. Quiniones

Littleton was named the company's general counsel in November 2020. She serves as the top legal advisor to [Exelon](/org/exelon)'s Board and senior management, and she oversees the company's legal and corporate governance departments.

Gayle E. Littleton

Glockner, 59, served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of Illinois, trying dozens of cases and taking on a succession of leadership roles from 1987 to 2000 before being named chief of the criminal division. In that role, Glockner oversaw more than 130 prosecutors handling cases involving financial fraud, public corruption, cybercrime, national security and violent crime. His tenure as division chief from 2000 to 2012 was among the most prolific in the Northern District’s history, helping to burnish the division’s reputation for successfully taking on multiple high-profile cases at once. His track record earned him the Director’s Award from the Executive Office for United States Attorneys for superior performance in management.

David Glockner

​Diaz is senior vice president of audit services, a member of the [Exelon](/org/exelon) Executive Committee and reports into the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. He is responsible for managing the execution of [Exelon](/org/exelon)’s audit and controls strategies and activities.

David Diaz

As senior vice president and chief operating officer of [Exelon](/org/exelon) Utilities since 2018, Khouzami has overseen daily administrative and operational functions for [Exelon](/org/exelon)’s six regulated utilities, including BGE. He previously served as chief financial officer for [Exelon](/org/exelon) Utilities. His 14 years in the energy sector started with [Constellation](/org/constellation-inc) and BGE, which were acquired by [Exelon](/org/exelon) in 2012. Khouzami served as chief integration officer for [Exelon](/org/exelon)’s merger with Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI). Prior to leading the PHI merger integration, Khouzami was BGE’s chief financial officer during the company’s merger and integration with [Exelon](/org/exelon). While serving as [Constellation](/org/constellation-inc)’s executive director of investor relations, Khouzami was ranked as the top investor relations professional in electric utilities by [Institutional Investor](/org/institutional-investor) in 2010. He previously held investment banking and financial analyst positions with Bear Stearns and [Bank of America](/org/bank-of-america). A resident of the Baltimore area, Khouzami is active within the community, serving on the boards of the Port Discovery Children’s Museum and the Roland Park Baseball League.

David Velazquez has been in the energy industry for over 15 years. David started their career at Conectiv Energy, where they led and directed commercial and operational activities for the competitive merchant energy subsidiary of [Pepco Holdings](/org/pepco-holdings), Inc. David then went on to become the President and CEO of [Pepco Holdings](/org/pepco-holdings) from March 2009 to January 2022. During their time at [Pepco Holdings](/org/pepco-holdings), they were responsible for leading the company's overall performance associated with service reliability, customer satisfaction, financial management, and regulatory and external affairs. In January of 2022, David became the EVP of Utility Operations at [Exelon](/org/exelon).

Innocenzo previously served as senior vice president and chief operating officer, where he was responsible for leadership of [PECO](/org/peco)’s overall performance associated with operations, safety, service reliability, customer satisfaction and financial management. Prior to this position, he served as vice president, Distribution System Operations and Advanced Grid and Meter Technology, where he was responsible for the operation of the company’s electric and natural gas distribution systems as well as the design and deployment of [PECO](/org/peco)’s new metering technology system. Innocenzo also served as the director of Gas Operations, Quality Services and Performance Improvement. He also served as a regional director in Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia counties, as well as a regional engineering manager for Chester and Delaware counties. Innocenzo also was the emergency services supervisor in Philadelphia and a project engineer in Philadelphia and Montgomery counties.​

Amy E. Best is the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at [Exelon](/org/exelon). Amy has been with the company since July 2007, and in their current role since March 2012. 

Prior to joining [Exelon](/org/exelon), Ms. Best was the Director of Leadership Development at [Exelon](/org/exelon) Business Services Company from April 2005 to July 2007. 

Ms. Best has a long history of experience in human resources and leadership development, making their well-suited for their current role. Amy is committed to helping [Exelon](/org/exelon) attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry.

Amy E. Best has a BA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MSHR from the Quinlan School of Business at [Loyola University Chicago](/org/loyola-university-chicago). Amy has also completed the Strategic Human Resources Executive Program at [Harvard Business School](/org/harvard-business-school) and the Leading Women Executive Program at CEO Perspectives Program.

Calvin G. Butler Jr. is president and chief executive officer of Exelon. Butler oversees Exelon’s six local electric and natural gas companies -- Atlantic City Electric, BGE, ComEd, Delmarva Power, PECO and Pepco. Together, they form the nation’s largest utility company by customer count, serving approximately 10 million electric and gas customers in New Jersey, Maryland, Illinois, Delaware, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. He serves as chairman of each utility’s board and is a member of Exelon’s executive committee. 



Calvin G. Butler Jr

Mr. Bowers has over 40 years of experience in the utilities industry as well as broad financial knowledge and business experience. His background serving as both a CEO and a CFO gives him a unique perspective on long-term strategy, corporate development, decisive leadership, and risk management.

Paul Bowers served as the Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Georgia Power, the largest subsidiary of Southern Company, from 2011 to 2021. He also served as President of Georgia Power from 2011 to 2020. Prior to his most recent position, he was Chief Financial Officer of Southern Company, where he was rated by Institutional Investors magazine as one of the industry’s “Top Three CFOs in America.” Paul joined Southern Company in 1979 and held executive leadership positions at multiple subsidiaries.

Paul currently serves on the board of AFLAC (insurance company) as the lead non-management director. He also serves on the boards of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Brand Safeway (private construction and civil engineering firm), and as curator for the Georgia Historical Society. Paul is a past member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Energy Policy Council, the Nuclear Electric Insurance Ltd. (past chairman) and the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.

W. Paul Bowers

​Ms. Cheshire’s experience in organizational leadership and her deep background in compliance, strategy, marketing and brand development is an asset to the board. Her work advising and volunteering for civic organizations focused on business development, education and the arts also brings a diverse perspective to our work.

​Marjorie Rodgers Cheshire is the President and Chief Operating Officer of A&R Development, a diversified real estate investment company, which owns large-scale multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use properties in the Baltimore and Washington markets. Ms. Cheshire is responsible for the firm’s business operations, asset management, and strategic initiatives and has held her current position since 2004.  

Prior to joining A&R, Ms. Cheshire spent many years in senior leadership positions in the media and sports industries.  Ms. Cheshire was the Senior Director of Brand & Consumer Marketing for the National Football League, was a Vice President of Business Development for Oxygen Media, and served as a Director and Special Assistant to the Chairman & CEO of ESPN.  Early in her career, Ms. Cheshire also worked as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and in brand management at Nestle Foods.

Ms. Cheshire is a director and chair of the compliance committee for PNC Financial Services Group. She also serves as chair of the board of Baltimore Equitable Insurance and is a trustee of Johns Hopkins Medicine and Johns Hopkins Hospital. Ms. Cheshire has a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Marjorie Rodgers Cheshire

Ms. Jojo has a wealth of experience leading complex IT organizations and offers important information technology and innovation expertise to Exelon’s Board. Ms. Jojo’s educational background in computer science and industrial engineering also lend expertise to Exelon’s risk oversight and cybersecurity initiatives. 

Ms. Jojo is Executive Vice President, Technology and Chief Digital Officer of United Airlines Holdings, Inc. (commercial airline) where she leads the Information Technology, Cyber Security and E-commerce organizations and is responsible for the airline’s digital strategy. She has held her current position at United since 2014. Prior to joining United, she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Rogers Communications Inc. from 2011 to 2014 (wireless communication and media), where she was responsible for all IT systems for both customer-facing and business support systems. Prior to this, Ms. Jojo served in other senior officer roles at Energy Future Holdings Corporation (held a portfolio of competitive and regulated energy companies), Flowserve Corporation (suppliers of industrial and environmental machinery), and General Electric. 

Ms. Jojo serves as a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, chair of the board of trustees of the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, Illinois, and is a member of the board of trustees at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.

Linda Jojo

Mr. DeBenedictis currently serves as Chairman Emeritus of [Aqua America](/org/aqua-america) Inc. (water utility operating in eight states) and served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 1993 to 2015. As CEO of [Aqua America](/org/aqua-america), Mr. DeBenedictis gained experience in dealing with many of the same development, land use, and utility regulatory issues that affect [Exelon](/org/exelon) and its subsidiaries. Mr. DeBenedictis also has extensive experience in environmental regulation and economic development, having served in two cabinet positions in the Pennsylvania government: Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources and Director of the Office of Economic Development. He also spent eight years with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and was President of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce for three years.

In addition to serving as Chairman Emeritus of [Aqua America](/org/aqua-america), Mr. DeBenedictis has served as a director of [MISTRAS Group](/org/mistras-group) (asset protection solutions) since 2015 and as a director of P.H. Glatfelter, Inc. (global supplier of specialty papers and engineered products) since 1995. Previously, Mr. DeBenedictis served as a director of Met-Pro Corporation from 1997 to 2010.

Mr. DeBenedictis also serves on the boards of Commonwealth Edison Company and [PECO Energy Company](/org/peco-energy-company), which are [Exelon](/org/exelon) subsidiaries.

Nicholas DeBenedictis

Ms. Berzin served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Financial Guaranty Insurance Company (FGIC), an insurer of municipal bonds, asset-backed securities and structured finance obligations, from 1992 to 2001. Ms. Berzin joined FGIC in 1985 as its General Counsel following seven years of securities law practice in New York City. 

Ms. Berzin currently serves as a director of Ingersoll-Rand plc (industrial manufacturing). Ms. Berzin previously served as a director of Kindred Healthcare, Inc. from 2006 to 2012 and as a director of [Constellation](/org/constellation-inc) Energy Group from 2008 to 2012 when [Constellation](/org/constellation-inc) merged with [Exelon](/org/exelon). 

Ms. Berzin also serves on the board of Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, an [Exelon](/org/exelon) subsidiary.

Ann Berzin

Admiral John Richardson served as the 31st Chief of Naval Operations from September 2015 until August 2019. He retired from the Navy after 37 years of service in September of 2019.
 
At sea, Richardson served in the submarines USS Parche (SSN 683), USS George C. Marshall (SSBN 654) and USS Salt Lake City (SSN 716). He commanded USS Honolulu (SSN718) in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Richardson also commanded Submarine Development Squadron 12, Submarine Group 8, NATO Submarine Allied Naval Forces South, and Naval Submarine Forces.  Additionally, he served as the Director of Naval Reactors where he was responsible for the full life-cycle, including regulatory responsibilities, of more than 90 reactors operating around the world on nuclear-powered warships.
 
His staff assignments include naval aide to the President, teacher for prospective submarine commanding officers, the Joint Staff, and director of Strategy and Policy at U.S. Joint Forces Command. Richardson served on teams that have been awarded the Presidential Unit Citation and other awards for outstanding team performance. He was awarded the Vice Admiral James Bond Stockdale Award for his time in command of USS Honolulu.
 
Admiral Richardson graduated from the [U.S. Naval Academy](/org/u-s-naval-academy) in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. He holds master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and National Security Strategy from the National War College.
 
Admiral Richardson also serves on the board of The Boeing Company.

John Richardson

Mr. Shattuck’s extensive executive leadership experience in business and the energy industry uniquely enable him to provide strategic insights and advice and oversee the execution of business priorities. His prior operational experience leading a nuclear utility that also had customer-facing competitive retail and wholesale trading businesses brings unparalleled value to his service and oversight. Mr. Shattuck’s financial acumen from his experience in the financial services industry also brings valuable perspectives to his leadership of the Board.

Prior to becoming Chairman of [Exelon](/org/exelon), Shattuck was the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Constellation Energy, a position he held from 2001 to 2012. Constellation Energy was a Fortune 200 company that owned energy-related businesses, including a wholesale and retail power marketing and merchant generation business in North America. It also operated the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company. Shattuck was previously at [Deutsche Bank](/org/deutsche-bank), where he served as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and, during his tenure, served as Global Head of Investment Banking and Global Head of Private Banking. He also served as Vice Chairman of Bankers Trust Corporation and President of Alex Brown Inc. 

While Chairman and CEO of Constellation Energy and Executive Chairman of [Exelon](/org/exelon), Shattuck served as Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Edison Electric Institute (EEI) and the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI). He was also Co-Chairman of the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) Commission on Nuclear Policy in the United States and Executive Committee member of the Council on Competitiveness. 

Shattuck currently serves on the Board of Directors for Gap Inc. (GPS) and Capital One Financial Corporation (COF). Shattuck is currently Chairman of Johns Hopkins Hospital and a Trustee of Johns Hopkins Medicine and [Johns Hopkins University](/org/johns-hopkins-university). 

Shattuck received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College and his master’s degree in business administration from [Stanford University](/org/stanford), where he graduated as an Arjay Miller Scholar. Shattuck has received an honorary Doctor of Public Service degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Emory Brown

Dr. Joskow is the Elizabeth and James Killian Professor of Economics, Emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is also the President Emeritus of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, where he served as president for ten years until 2017. Dr. Joskow joined the MIT faculty in 1972. He served as head of the MIT Department of Economics from 1994 to 1998 and as Director of the MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research from 1999 to 2007. Dr. Joskow’s teaching and research has been in the areas of industrial organization, energy and environmental economics, competition policy, and government regulation of industry. Much of his research and consulting activity has focused on the electric power industry, electricity pricing, fuel supply, demand, generating technology, and regulation.

Dr. Joskow has served on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Acid Rain Advisory Committee and on the Environmental Economics Committee of the EPA’s Science Advisory Board. Dr. Joskow also served on the National Commission on Energy Policy, as a member of the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board, and as chair of the National Academies Board on Science, Technology and Economic Policy. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a fellow of the Econometric Society and a distinguished fellow of the American Economic Association.

Dr. Joskow currently serves as a member of the board of trustees of the Putnam Mutual Funds. He previously served as a director of New England Electric System from 1987 to 2000 until it was acquired by [National Grid](/org/national-grid), following which he served as a director of [National Grid](/org/national-grid) plc from 2000 to 2007. Dr. Joskow served as a director of TransCanada Corporation from 2004 to 2013.

Paul Joskow

Mr. Anderson served as the Vice Chair and Midwest Area Managing Partner of Ernst & Young (EY), a global assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services firm, until his retirement in 2012. During Mr. Anderson’s 35-year career with EY, he oversaw a practice of 3,500 audit, tax, and transaction professionals serving clients throughout the Midwest and also served for six years in the Los Angeles area as managing partner of EY’s Pacific Southwest region. Mr. Anderson also served as a member of EY’s governing body, the Americas Executive Board.
Mr. Anderson currently serves as a director of AAR Corp. (aerospace and defense), [Avery Dennison](/org/avery-dennison) (manufacturer of adhesive technologies, display graphics and packaging materials), and Marsh & McLennan Companies (global professional services firm). He is also a director of the Regional Transportation Authority (oversight body for regional transportation agencies), chairman of the board of the Perspectives Charter School, and on the board of directors for [World Business Chicago](/org/world-business-chicago). Mr. Anderson previously served as a director of First American Financial Corporation from 2012 to 2016 and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago from 2008 to 2010. Mr. Anderson also previously served as a director of The Chicago Council on Global Affairs and as a director of the Chicago Urban League.

Ms. Brlas most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Newmont Mining Corporation, a leading gold and copper producer with U.S and international operations, until her retirement in 2016.  From 2006 to 2013, Ms. Brlas served in a succession of senior leadership positions at iron ore producer Cleveland-Cliffs, Inc., most recently as Executive Vice President and President, Global Operations. 
Ms. Brlas currently serves on the boards of Albemarle Corporation, a global chemical manufacturer, and Perrigo Company plc, an over-the-counter pharmaceutical and nutritional product manufacturer. She previously served as a director of Calpine Corporation (electricity generation) and NOVA Chemical Corporation (plastics and chemical manufacturing). Ms. Brlas is a certified public accountant and certified management accountant.

Laurie Brlas

​​​​​Mr. de Balmann has extensive experience in corporate finance, including the derivatives and capital markets as well as industry experience as a director of Constellation Energy Group from 2003 to 2012. His background leading major organizations informs his leadership of the Compensation and Leadership Development Committee.

 
Mr. de Balmann served as the Co-Chairman of Bregal Investments LP, a private equity investing firm, from 2002 to 2012. Previously, he was Vice-Chairman of Bankers Trust Corporation, in charge of Global Investment Banking, until its merger with Deutsche Bank in 1999 at which time he became Co-Head of Deutsche Bank’s Global Investment Bank and Co-Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown from 1999 to 2001. He remained a Senior Advisor to Deutsche Bank AG from 2001 to 2003. 

Mr. de Balmann currently serves as a director of ESI Group (virtual prototyping software and services) which is listed in compartment B of Euronext Paris. Previously, Mr. de Balmann served as a director of Laureate Education, Inc. and as the non-executive chairman of Conversant Intellectual Property Management.

Mr. Lawless served as Chairman of McCormick & Company, Inc. (food manufacturing industry) from 1997 to 2009, having also served as its President until 2006, and its Chief Executive Officer until his retirement in 2008. 

Mr. Lawless currently serves as a director of [The Baltimore Life Insurance Company](/org/the-baltimore-life-insurance-company) (insurance provider). Mr. Lawless previously served as a director of [Constellation](/org/constellation-inc) Energy Group from 2002 to 2012 when [Constellation](/org/constellation-inc) merged with [Exelon](/org/exelon).
