Filippo Favalli

Filippo Favalli has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Filippo is currently the Head of Medical Affairs Italy at Exeltis, where they are responsible for managing the medical department and coordinating with Global Medical Affairs. Prior to this, they worked at Viatris as a Medical Manager in Global Medical Affairs, overseeing medical training, advisory boards, and providing scientific support for marketing activities. Filippo also had experience as a Medical Manager at Mylan and as a Medical Affairs Manager at ALK. Before transitioning into medical affairs roles, Filippo worked as a Medical Science Liaison at Daiichi Sankyo, where they cultivated relationships with healthcare professionals and organized conferences. Filippo also has experience as a physician, volunteering at a private medical clinic and working as a medical doctor.

Filippo Favalli's education history includes a Training course certification in COVID-19 vaccination training for health workers from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020. In 2018, they obtained a Certification of the course "know PV" in Pharmacovigilance from Brookwood International Academy. In 2016, they attended a module in Pharmacovigilance at Scuola di Formazione Farmindustria. In 2013, Filippo completed a course in English language at British Council Milano and also a 2nd MASTER COURSE IN HAEMATOLOGY on Clinical Approach for Myelodysplastic Syndromes at Rete Ematologica Lombarda REL. Filippo holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Università degli Studi di Milano, which they pursued from 2001 to 2012. Additionally, they completed a basic course in biotechnology from the same university. Filippo received their Diploma di Maturità classica from Liceo Classico Statale Cesare Beccaria in 2000. In 1999, they also attended an English language course at British Council Milano. Filippo obtained a certification in a meeting on biologic solutions in orthopaedic surgery from Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio in 2007.
