Jacob A. Ries

Jacob Ries strives to be the first person his clients turn to when they need financial advice. His ambition is to make work optional for his clients. As a member of the Walworth, WI Exemplar Team Jacob helps his clients pursue their goals through thoughtful financial planning, diligent exploration of alternatives, independent advice, and exemplary service.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in December of 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, Jacob joined Exemplar Financial Network in May of 2001 as a Junior Planner. Working primarily with small business owners and pre-retirees, Jacob works closely with his clients to help them develop specific goals for their financial future.

Exemplifying his noted commitment to his community, Jacob is an active member of the Big Foot Lions Club. He is also past Vice President of Walworth Joint School District #1 Board of Education, where he served from 2012-2015. Currently, he is the Committee Chairperson for the Internship Program and Committee Member of the Citizen of the Year Award with the Geneva Lake West Chamber of Commerce. The Internship Program, which Jacob helped create in 2010, is designed to support and encourage high school sophomores and juniors to become future community leaders by spending a summer auditing board and committee meetings of local municipal, county, and school governments.
