Mike Smith

Mike Smith has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Mike most recently worked at Exemplis LLC, where they held the role of VP Human Resources (Head of HR) starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they served as Senior Director, HR Business Partner from April 2022 to April 2023. Mike also worked as Director, HR Business Partner at Exemplis LLC from May 2017 to March 2022, where they were responsible for leading the HR Business Partner function for the company and its family of brands.

Before joining Exemplis LLC, Mike worked at Oakley as a Senior Manager / HR Business Partner from January 2014 to April 2017. In this role, they provided full HR functional support to various organizational levels and led large scale organizational restructuring efforts. Mike also led the HR integration with the parent company, Luxottica.

Prior to their role at Oakley, Mike gained experience at Boeing, where they worked from November 1999 to January 2014. Mike served as a Talent Management Senior Analyst from January 2013 to January 2014, and as a Sr HR Business Partner - Strategy & Integration from November 1999 to January 2013. In these positions, Mike supported the executive leadership team in key business areas, focusing on HR analytics, streamlining HR policies and processes, and ensuring program goals were achieved.

Mike Smith has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UCLA. Mike also has a Masters of Science degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from San Diego State University. In addition, they have obtained a certification as a Professional of Human Resources from the Society of Human Resources Management.
