John Thompson

John Thompson has a long history of work experience. John started their career in 1984 as a Strategic Planning Manager at HLH Forest Holdings RSA. In 1995, they became a Senior Trainer at the Avraham Y. Goldratt Institute, where they trained Institute attendees in all the Theory of Constraint applications. In 2001, they became the CEO of Global Focus LLC, a business consultancy specializing in positioning Organizations for sustainable growth and business turn-around. From 2006 to 2018, they were a Board Member of the TOCICO, the Theory of Constraints International Certification Organization, and served two terms as Chairman. In 2009, they became a Board Member of Bedford Reenforced Plastics. In 2010, they became Co-Founder and COO of Exepron, a 21st Century Enterprise Portfolio and Resource Management Solution. Since 2018, they have been a Board Member of the Louisiana District Export Council (LDEC).

John Thompson attended Stellenbosch University from 1980 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. In 2013, they obtained a Certified IC3PM Instructor certification from the International Supply Chain Education Alliance.
