Phil Sheppard

Phil Sheppard has worked in a variety of roles since 2001. From 2001 to 2004 they worked as an Environment Cluster Manager at UK CEED (UK Centre for Economic and Environmental Development). From 2004 to 2009 they were the Intelligence Director at the Centre for Sustainable Engineering. From 2009 to 2016 they worked as an Innovation Analyst and Clean Technologies Specialist at Pera Technology Solutions. In 2016 they worked as an Innovation Agent at Intelligent Innovation. From 2017 to 2019 they worked as a Research Associate at Loughborough University and from 2019 to present they are an IP & Commercial Analyst at Exergyn. Throughout their career, Phil has developed expertise in the analysis of technical and commercial landscapes, IP analysis and management, bid writing, market analysis, state-of-the-art research and surveillance, and life cycle assessment. Phil has also published four papers and developed several research proposals, three of which were funded.

Phil Sheppard has studied at the University of York and Open University. Phil has also obtained two certifications: a Cradle to Cradle Certified(TM) General Assessor from the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute in October 2013, and a Lead Auditor, SA8000 from SGS in October 2000.
