Penelope Heighton

Law Tutor/programme Leader at Exeter College

Penelope Heighton is currently working as a Law tutor/programme leader at Exeter College since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at DAS Law from January 2019 to January 2022 as a Senior Associate in the Serious Injury Team, specializing in claimant personal injury litigation. Before that, they were a Solicitor at Rundlewalker Solicitors in October 2018 to December 2018. From October 2017 to June 2018, they worked as an Associate Solicitor at Dunn & Baker Solicitors. Penelope also worked at Harris Fowler Solicitors as a Solicitor from September 2009 to July 2017. Penelope began their legal career at Ashfords LLP in September 2005 as a Paralegal/Trainee Solicitor and worked there until August 2009.

Penelope Heighton completed their education history in a chronological manner. Penelope attended Notting Hill and Ealing High School (GDST) from 1985 to 1997. After that, they pursued a Euro LLB degree in Law at the University of Bristol from 1997 to 2001. During their degree, they also spent a year at Universidad de Granada under the Erasmus program, focusing on international law from 1999 to 2000. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the University of Exeter in 2004 and completed a postgraduate Legal Practice Course.
