Dr. Andy Brown MBE is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience across multiple roles. Currently serving as an Air Experience Paragliding Instructor at Fly Like a Bird and as a GP Partner at Bideford Medical Centre since November 2020, Dr. Brown also holds positions as a Military Medical Examiner with Capita and Medical Director at Nomad Risk. Additionally, Dr. Brown contributes as a Tutor in Extreme Medicine at Exeter University and has been self-employed as an Alpine, Winter, and Summer Mountain Leader since 2002. Formerly a Partner at Holsworthy Medical Centre and a Medical Officer in the Royal Navy for 16 years, Dr. Brown's expertise lies in Sports Medicine and strategic medical operations. Academic achievements include a Master of Arts in Defence Studies from King's College London and both a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Master of Arts in Physiological Sciences from the University of Oxford.
