Antoine THOMAS

Antoine THOMAS has a diverse work experience in the field of biopharmaceuticals and consulting. Antoine is currently the Owner and Sr. CMC Consultant at ATBio-Consulting since January 2023. Antoine also holds the position of Head of External Manufacturing at TargED Biopharmaceuticals, starting from January 2023. Prior to this, Antoine was the Head of External Manufacturing at ExeVir from November 2020 onwards.

During their career, they have worked at Vivet Therapeutics as a Sr. CMC Manager from November 2017 to October 2020. Before that, they held positions at Ablynx as a Sr. CMC Project Leader and Sr. Scientist - Study Manager Manufacturing CMC, where they were responsible for the Caplacizumab CMC related activities. Antoine led the project from Phase II to completion.

Antoine THOMAS started their career at UCB Pharma as a Group Leader from 2004 to 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at Université Libre de Bruxelles and Rhodia. Antoine began their professional journey as a Junior lecturer at UHP Nancy I from 1999 to 2002.

Antoine Thomas holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1, which they obtained from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from the same university, with studies spanning from 1991 to 1997.

In terms of professional training, Antoine Thomas has pursued various courses and certifications from the European Compliance Academy (ECA). These include a GMP professional training in Statistical Process Control, which they undertook in 2017. In 2016, they also completed a GMP professional training in Continued/Ongoing Process Verification. Antoine invested time in 2015 to pursue a GMP professional training course in The Validation Manager, and in 2014, they completed a GMP professional training in Setting Specification and Acceptance Criteria.

Additionally, Antoine Thomas obtained a certification as a Validation Manager from the European Compliance Academy (ECA) in February 2017.
