Daniel Alley

Daniel Alley is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in functional safety, electronics design, systems architecture, and project management. Currently serving as a Sr Functional Safety Engineer at exida since July 2023, Daniel has previously held roles at prominent companies such as GE, Jabil, and Rockwell Automation, focusing on automation products, hardware design for PLC systems, and consulting for electronics issues. With a robust background in developing customer requirements and intellectual property, Daniel has contributed to over 25 patents, including innovative solutions for turbine controls and military applications. Daniel's education includes a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MS in Electronics and Controls from Case Western Reserve University.
