Partha Dasgupta

Partha Dasgupta is a seasoned professional in the field of research and development with extensive experience in senior leadership roles at Exide Industries Limited. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of R&D and Chief Technology Officer since September 2021, Partha has previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Chloride Power Systems and Solutions Limited, a subsidiary of Exide, from April 2020 to September 2021. Prior roles at Exide Industries include Vice President of New Business and Vice President of Research and Development from April 2012 to March 2020. Partha's career also includes consulting positions at IBM India Private Limited and Ciber Global, alongside a long tenure at Exide Industries. Academically, Partha holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Jadavpur University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, coupled with a Higher Secondary degree from South Point High School in Kolkata.
