Alexander Volkov

QA Automation Engineer at Exness

Alexander Volkov's work experience begins in 2004 at the Institute of Automation and Control Processes of Far Eastern Branch of RAS, where they worked as an Engineer, focusing on neural network analysis of big data sets from distributed systems.

In 2006, Volkov joined Rhonda Software as a Software Engineer, developing new features for multimedia components on platforms such as Motorola P2K and Qualcomm. Alexander also conducted FITness automation tests using Java.

From 2008 to 2008, Volkov worked as a Contractor - Software Engineer for Motorola Mobile Devices.

In 2009, Volkov joined MTS Group as part of the IT Department. Alexander took on the role of Head of Exploitation of Information Technology and was responsible for supporting the mediation system and debugging Java libraries. Alexander later transitioned to general IT department responsibilities, including the support and testing of new configurations for the HP IUM platform.

In 2016, Volkov began working at Luxoft as a Senior Software Test Specialist, specializing in software system integration testing for Apache Storm and automation testing using Cucumber and IBM Rational Integration Tester.

Later, Volkov joined GridGain Systems in 2017, initially as a QA Automation Engineer, creating test plans, test cases, and automation tests for new product functionality. Alexander then became a QA Automation Lead, overseeing the development of a distributed testing framework, planning functional testing activities, and creating test plans and cases.

In 2020, Volkov moved to YADRO, where they took on the role of QA Automation Lead for integration testing. In this position, they developed a test framework for hardware storages/servers, migrated tests from Robot Framework to a new test framework, and planned functional testing activities.

Currently, Volkov is working at Exness as a QA Automation Engineer, starting in 2023.

Alexander Volkov attended Primorsky Jobs from 2001 to 2007, where they studied Computer Safety. In addition, they obtained a certification in Cryptography I from Coursera in November 2014.
