David Ward

David Ward has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. David started their career as a freelance writer, working on a wide range of projects including copywriting, screenplays, and corporate commissions. David later worked as a Copywriter at Quirk, where they handled SEO copy and worked with major South African brands. David also gained experience as a Freelance Journalist and Contributor at one small seed pty, where they produced written content for various platforms. David then took on the role of Digital Copy Lead at Pick 'n Pay, creating online content for the retail giant. David also worked as a Year 1 Homeroom Teacher at ICS International School and provided English support at Kingsgate International School. David had a brief stint as a Digital Marketing Consultant at Edeel (Cambodia) Co.,LTD, where they consulted on copy and digital marketing strategies. Prior to that, David worked as an English Support provider at Kingsgate International School. David later became self-employed and worked as a Content Writer, taking on digital-first projects for various platforms including Twitch, Mixer, and Facebook. Currently, they are a Senior Content Writer at Exness, where they develop and optimizes content for help centers and creates instructional scripts for videos.

David Ward attended the Cape Peninsula University of Technology from 2008 to 2010, where they studied Playwriting and Screenwriting as part of their degree in Film and Television Production Techniques. In 2012, they enrolled at The Red & Yellow School of Advertising and Quirk Education, graduating in 2013 with a degree in Digital Marketing, with a focus on UX Design. During the same period, they also pursued Production and Project Management at Quirk Education. In 2013, they furthered their education in Digital Marketing at the University of Stellenbosch and Quirk Education.
